Authorities confirmed the devastating event occurred on Monday, following weeks of emotional posts that painted a picture of her struggle.

In the days leading up to the tragic event, Chianti Means shared a series of heartbreaking social media posts revealing her inner turmoil and longing for love and family.

“I wish someone would love me because the man that’s supposed to does not,” she wrote late last month, hinting at deep personal pain. Days later, she expressed feeling “sick of irritation, anger, sadness, and rage.”

On October 1, Means posted about her desire to reunite with her children’s father, writing, “Everyone please leave me alone, I’m in love with my daughter’s father. I want my family back. Respectfully, Idgaf what I said about him before or what anyone else thinks.” She reflected on the value of loved ones, adding, “You have to hold on to the ones you love. Never know when you might lose them.”

In a later exchange, when someone asked her why she had separated from her ex, she candidly replied, “Cause I was a dumb a– pregnant b— who swore up & down I ain’t want him.”

Heartbreaking Social Media Posts and Tributes Emerge Following Niagara Falls Tragedy Involving New York Mother and Children

Despite her evident emotional turmoil, authorities confirmed Thursday that no foul play is suspected in the deaths of Chianti Means and her children, and the father is not under suspicion.

The deeply personal posts surfaced as police continue to investigate the incident. Officials have determined the tragic fall was “intentional” but are still working to understand the full circumstances. “The investigation has determined that this incident was intentional in nature, though the circumstances remain under investigation,” New York State troopers said in a statement on Wednesday.

Efforts to locate the three bodies remain ongoing. State Police and Park Police have conducted search and rescue operations, though so far without success.

Heartfelt tributes for Means and her children have poured onto social media. Friend Kayshawna Morgane wrote, “I have been speechless and crying and couldn’t sleep at all. My heart is broken. Mental health is no joke.” Another friend, Mich Molina, expressed her devastation: “I am literally sick to my stomach and I can’t even deal with the emotions I am feeling.
