California Fan Wins $100,000 in Pat McAfee Contest
A California Bears supporter struck gold, winning $100,000 in Pat McAfee’s live ESPN kicking contest.
Pat McAfee, a host on the College GameDay show, runs a weekly challenge where he invites fans at the live broadcast stadium to attempt a field goal for a cash reward.
On Saturday morning, Daniel, a dedicated Bears fan, was selected from the crowd and allowed to earn $75,000 with a successful kick.

Although his first attempt missed the mark, veering right of the posts, he was granted a second shot, this time with the prize bumped up to $100,000 — and he nailed it. Daniel made no mistake this time, sending his kick straight through the posts, igniting wild celebrations among the Cal fans watching from the stands.
McAfee, a former NFL punter and kickoff specialist for the Indianapolis Colts and fellow broadcaster Kirk Herbstreit, erupted with excitement at Daniel’s success.
$600,000 Donation to Hurricane Relief Fund
