Police are actively searching for a 23-year-old New York man accused of fatally stabbing his father at their Long Island residence over the weekend.
According to Suffolk County authorities, Matthew Zoll is wanted in connection with the death of his 61-year-old father, Joseph Zoll, which occurred early Saturday morning. The incident was reported around 1:30 a.m., and since then, Matthew Zoll has managed to avoid capture.

Authorities have yet to reveal a motive behind the tragic fatal stabbing of 61-year-old Joseph Zoll, for which his son, Matthew Zoll, is a suspect.
Matthew Zoll, described as a white male, stands 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighs approximately 150 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. He also has a distinctive small scar beneath his left eye, police noted. Officials believe he is not currently in possession of a vehicle. The investigation remains ongoing as Suffolk County police work to locate him.
