Norfolk Police responded to a call at a ground-floor flat on Lefroy Road at 10:40 p.m. on September 21, where the body of 19-year-old Kalvin Taylor was discovered. Authorities quickly launched a murder investigation, leading to the arrest of five individuals.
A post-mortem examination confirmed that Taylor died from a single stab wound to the chest. The victim, identified as Taylor from London, was formally named on Saturday.
By Saturday evening, police charged four people in connection with the young man’s death, and the investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to piece together the events leading to this tragic incident.
Three were Charged with Murder And One was Charged With Assisting an Offender
Leon Bangura, 22, from Old Kent Road, London, faces multiple charges including murder, threatening another individual with an offensive weapon, possession of a bladed article, and possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
Also charged with murder are Adam Dugdale, 55, of Shorncliffe Avenue, Norwich, and Carrie-Anne Hall, 51, of Lodge Breck, Norwich. Matthew Holmes, 51, from Bowthorpe Road, Norwich, has been charged with assisting an offender.

In the wake of this tragedy, Mr. Taylor’s mother has shared a heartfelt tribute through the police: “It is so devastating what has happened to my son. It has left our family in a million pieces which we will never recover from. Kalvin was a son, a grandson, a brother, a cousin, and a friend to us all. We will remember and miss Kalvin all the days of our life. We love you, Kalvin; rest in heavenly peace until we meet again.”
