What Happened To Nathan Carter?
Nathan and his friends spent the night bar-hopping around Halifax, enjoying their evening together. At 3:02 am, he was escorted out of Maggie’s nightclub by the bouncers. Afterward, Nathan made his way to Halifax train station, where CCTV footage captured him walking to the end of the platform.
Later that morning, a cyclist discovered his body in an alleyway beside the station. Authorities believe Nathan climbed a high wall overlooking the alley, which separates the station from a nearby factory.
Police investigated the incident and found no third-party involvement, ultimately closing the case.
Nathan’s cause of death was determined to be a head injury resulting from a fall from a height. The inquest concluded that his cognitive impairment and serious error in judgment were due to high levels of alcohol and cocaine in his system.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced the 18-year-old dead shortly after 5 a.m. that morning.
